Please be advised that on Wednesday, July 11th, 2012 and Thursday, July 12th, 2012 the airport Maintenance Department will be conducting a painting project of markings on all runways. Runway closures will be necessary to facilitate this project as well as a required inspection of the Runway 14 Engineered Material Arresting System (EMAS) bed. Please note the following closures:
- Runway 1/19 closed Wednesday, July 11th from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Runway 14/32 closed Thursday, July 12th from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
All operators are advised that one runway will be fully available at all times while these projects are underway. Please check NOTAMS for any changes to the dates and/or times of these closures.
If your company has any special needs regarding the use of a runway during this period, please contact the Airport Operations Department at 631-752-7707(ext.6108) with the tail number and date and time of the aircraft operation. We can accommodate requests when prior notification is provided.
